Facility Maintenance Engineer

SUMMARY
ASM Global, the leader in privately managed convention centers and arenas, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Facility Maintenance Engineer at Osceola Heritage Park, Kissimmee, FL. The maintenance engineer is responsible for all aspects of facility maintenance and event setup and teardown. All facility equipment including audio and visual, plumbing and electrical plants; lighting and climate control systems; roofing systems; telecommunications, food service and maintenance/cleaning equipment is operating properly and efficiently and maintained in good condition. Provide general facility maintenance and proper delivery of event-related utility services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist with proper and efficient operation of the facilities Building Management System (BMS).
• Provides technical support, oversees and/or assists with repairs and maintenance of all facility systems and equipment.
• Help ensure all equipment is maintained according to factory specifications and appropriate PM information is entered into ASM Altum Maintenance Program.
• Proper utilization of the Work Order and ASM Maintenance Manager systems.
• Adherence to OSHA, NFPA and other applicable safety codes.
• Analyzes needs and plan preventive maintenance programs and upgrades for systems.
• Monitors repair activity to minimum downtown and disruption to facility event activity.
• Setup and teardown event related services, phone and internet, power, A/V, and lighting.

SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the maintenance and operation of all audio, lighting, and video production equipment within Osceola Heritage Park. Property production equipment includes video boards and messaging systems, LED lighting systems, spotlights, digital audio systems, and other A/V equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Performs a variety of grounds maintenance tasks to include edging, mowing, trimming, waste and litter removal, fertilizing, laying sod and raking. Spreads seed, plants foliage and shrubbery, aerates sports fields, lawns and soils, trims and maintains landscape.
• Performs physically demanding tasks requiring use of heavy grounds keeping, maintenance and/or custodial equipment.
• Performs general maintenance and upkeep of tools, equipment and machinery to include lubricates, services and fuels; performs routine light maintenance and repairs; cleans and maintains safe operation.

- Assist in the setup of the stand prior to the event, (cooking pretzels, making hotdogs, etc.).
- Verify starting bank with money manager and handle money in accordance with cashier money handling policy.

The Event Staff are responsible for directing patrons to their seats for shows or events by demonstrating excellent customer service skills, responding promptly to customer needs and requests for service and assistance. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and handle most questions without assistance, and efficiently and courteously answer questions concerning pricing, seating, events, facility layouts and amenities.

• Greet each guest with a smile and encourage them to enjoy their visit to our facilities
• Listen attentively to patrons' questions, concerns or suggestions and be prepared to answer their questions
• Inspect your assigned areas for any safety hazards or seating irregularities prior to opening the doors; report any problems to the Event Manager on duty
• Knowledge of the locations of the nearest restrooms, drinking fountains, smoking sections and concession stands
